You know you do it, too. You hesitate about buying that extremely expensive warranty on the electronics you buy. They aren't always worth it (seriously) and when you don't need them you feel the amount of money that you wasted.
Well when I bought my laptop, I wanted the 4 year warranty. I knew I was going to have the computer for quite a long time and that things go wrong on occasion (especially when people in your family and yourself is kind of klutzy) and something may happen as to where you regret not getting the warranty.
It happened with two digital cameras, I remind you. One was dropped into a container full of ice water, the other was dropped by the little lady's friend. No warranties there, folks.
So long, long ago when I bought the laptop, I paid 400 some bucks for the 4 year warranty. I figured why not since they told me it literally covers everything, that included the screen and the battery which they used to not cover - per the representative.
So now I am getting a free (400 dollars worth) AC Adapter for my laptop. Apparently there is a short somewhere in the cord, most likely near the connection, that is causing the battery to not charge. So the battery keeps warning us that it's low because the laptop isn't reading that the power cord is connected. Blahblahblah.
So with the new power cord the battery will charge and I will once again be with laptop! Anyway. I'll be using the Honey's to do homework and check email but probably not much else. I am going to try to send out the cord tomorrow because supposedly once it is scanned as sent they are going to ship me the new one. That could take up to 10 business days. Tomorrow is Friday so I expect to have it within two weeks. Seriously.
Ok so, I am off to finish dinner! Laters.
