Let's see. I created a testing blog to see if I can get my former layout working. I need to somehow integrate the new movable type coding with the old. Meaning I need to find out what goes where and why it goes there and what codes have changed to something else. See, before they just put pretty much everything into one template. Now it's broken up over many and the main index is simply pulling all the different templates into itself. Some of the classes with the css has changed and that means unless I disregard all the great things in MT4 (which would be a mistake to do) I have to rework everything.
Or I could just start new. I was thinking it might be possible to do a layered background. I could simply replace the header and footer banners with my stuff, change the colors to match whatever I choose and then add some form of background image that sits in an exact position. It sounds workable when I think about it and I just might be able to make it happen. Now. I just have to figure out if I can make a widget to add the blogs I read to it. I don't have any of them in my favorites, I just come here and click on the links. Made things quicker for me.
I'm off. I'm going to see what sort of interesting thing I can come up with. Laters.
