I laid down because my stomach was bothering me (no clue as to why) and took a short nap (short = 2 hours). I wake up to someone knocking on the door and it’s Honey’s mom! I love his mom, she rocks my world. I answer the door and she gives me the cutest strawberry shortcake I’ve ever seen! She says Honey’s dad forgot to wish me a happy birthday today (no biggie, I’ve had much bigger issues than that in the past regarding birthdays) and so he asked her to tell me. This is what the cake looked like before the Little Lady and I took two slices out of it. I cut it like a peace sign so the slices would be as even as possible. Honey’s piece is sitting on the counter (still thawing).
Yep, still thawing. I made the Little Lady watch part of the video from the original You Spin Me Right Round, Tainted Love and then Take On Me (which that one she liked and we watched the whole thing). I know, the torture! The strawberries on top were still frozen though (which is what we were waiting for to thaw oh so patiently).
One of Little Lady’s friends from school found a bunch of four-leaf clovers and laminated them. He gave one to her. How sweet is that? The photo is really blurry. Hey, it’s really freaking tiny and I have the camera set to high quality, so it’s blurry. Deal.
