Disillusioned x 3

| No Comments | No TrackBacks

So there’s this app on Myspace that can pull the RSS feed of your blog into it. You can set the colors for it, too. So you can now find Disillusioned in three places. Three! Here at the actual site, of course, on my Facebook and now on my Myspace. I know, it’s a lot to take in!

I just thought that it was really cool that I could pull the RSS for the blog over at Facebook because for some reason I couldn’t put a link to here or something goofy like that. But hey, all my FB friends can read what’s going on, or excerpts of what’s going on anyway, unless they click on it, then they can read the whole sha-bang.

On Myspace it doesn’t look as nice as it does for Facebook but it works. They see that it’s Disillusioned’s RSS feed, they see the titles of the posts, they see the posts. I can choose the link, background, text color and the height of the box it’s featured in. They can click on the links and be taken to the RSS feed, but not the site. I already have a link to Disillusioned though so no problem there.

I just think it’s pretty damn cool that any post I write is going to be seen in three places. All the reviews, opinions, sites mentioned, etc will be seen in more than one place. How freaking awesome is that for authors and tv shows that I write about? Pretty damn cool, yes it is.

It was really hard to find on Facebook how to add the RSS Feed, but on Myspace I went to the App Gallery and simply entered ‘blog feed’ into the search and it brought it right up. Add the App, enter your settings, then save. View your profile and it’ll be there! The only thing I dislike is the Times New Roman font. Other than that, it’s great! Enjoy!

About Disillusioned

Disillusioned is a personal view of the world around me. A lot of information will be about books I read, or shows/movies I watch but sometimes there will be something that simply has to be pointed out and shredded. With Joy.

Disillusioned is best viewed in 1280x800 resolution.

To contact me you can email me by way of disillusioned at sweetly-evil.org, comments are open for business.

About Chelle

Yeah, that's me! I am 25 34, I live in Northeast Ohio; I have one beautiful teenage daughter and one newly lovable cat. I enjoy reading, television, anime and annoying my daughter. I'm also trying to learn Japanese because I want to visit Japan someday. Yes, I'm over 30 and I like anime, do you have an issue with that?

If you really wish to know even more about how fantastic I truly am, here you go: About Me

About This Layout

This layout features a blending of Zen and Disillusioned. Everything is calm, tranquil, at peace. Yet, some days I feel very disillusioned about the reality around me because it doesn't contain these things, nor do I. There is so much chaos, so much anger and hate going around this world. It affects each and every one of us, like the movement of butterfly wings can cause tsunamis. The image used remains with the copyright of the owner. The font used is called Dali.
