So if you’ve forgotten since I haven’t really mentioned the cats lately, they are both still here happily driving us insane one day at a time. Dusty’s new latest spots are in front of the door we use to go in and out, which means we have to make sure we don’t step on him or let him out and sleeping in the shower. Here you can see where my daughter found him curled up this morning when she went to do her bathroom routine. I found him there again this afternoon when I went to use the bathroom. Isn’t he so smug looking? I mean, if I wanted him to move I could just turn the cold water on and he’d move, not fast, he does like water, but he’d still move.
So our wonderful cats like to pick oddball spots to lay in. Velvet likes the Little Lady’s windowsill at the moment and can’t stand having her alarm clock on it. So in order to get her way, Velvet will knock the alarm clock off her windowsill. Then during the night she’ll try to curl up with the Little Lady as close as she can get and if she thinks she can get closer then she keeps scooting until you get annoyed.
Other than that the cats have been their finicky, easily annoyed selves. I want the Dusty back that laid on the couch next to me all day and all evening, stealing my spot when I moved and purring whenever I petted him. He was mad at Daddy for giving him a bath and was trying to make him jealous by snuggling up with me. Ohwell, perhaps another day.
