I recently signed up to start advertising with SixApart Media (sixapart.com) and was accepted into their program. They had a webinar session yesterday that I completely forgot about until going through my email today, but that’s ok, it seems pretty darn easy to use right off the bat. I’m still having issues with LinkWorth. I can’t understand why their context ads don’t work (even though I finally got the testing to work) and they aren’t much help in the knowledgebase or support.
So far I have not had any issues with SixApart Media’s program. I went in and filled out the taxpayer info, the payout type I wanted and then added the script to pages I wanted ads to appear on. Currently they are added to the Affiliated widget, the Disillusioned page and the Disclosure page. Ads started appearing immediately on three of four scripts. I don’t think there are any current advertisers for the smallest one except SixApart Media themselves.
I’ll keep everyone updated on the new things I find out with this and I don’t recall seeing any restrictions regarding where your blog is hosted or what blogging system you use, but if I see anything on that I’ll post it as well.
