NaNoBloMo

| No Comments | No TrackBacks

So, NaNoBloMo starts today, but if you want to sign up and don’t have 2 minutes scheduled to do so today, you can still sign up until the 5th, then it’s closed and you’re out of luck.

Not sure why I signed up, other than if I had a reason to blog each and every day I just might do it. That’s the only rule, you have to blog each day of November. Today I’m letting you know that it’s starting but I may blog about something that happened through my mind earlier. I haven’t decided yet. Still writing behind the scenes but nothing has been finished. It either sounds way too nasty to post or I go off on a tangent and end up in another time and place which leaves me lost as to how I got there myself.

Nothing much goes on with me other than work and housework and running the Little Lady around to all her school projects they have to do in groups and so forth. While that might seem enough to write about for some, I prefer writing about other things going on. I’m on book 11 of the Stephanie Plum saga by Janet Evanovich but haven’t written about one book. I started Bloodlines by Richelle Mead (spin off to the Vampire Academy saga) but it seems every time I start to read I have this urge to do something else.

Want to hear a dirty little secret? I started watching the Vampire Diaries on netflix. Yeah… to you that might not be such a dirty little secret, but it is to me. Especially since I can’t get enough of Damon. Of course I’d be hot for the psychopathic brother (I love how vicious he is).

I suppose this is enough for now, I’ll be back later, or tomorrow. Until then, Enjoy.

Where've I been today?

No where really. I logged into my Twitter page and looked read what I missed from those I’m following. Then I finally got logged into email and saw all the people who added me as a friend over at BlogCatalog (Thank you).

After logging into my Slacker.com radio station (yeah I know, but my bandwidth usage has been low so I can listen) I realized I could add Twitter and Facebook to the BlogCatalog thing, so I did that. I had a hard time figuring out what the heck I was supposed to find on my FB page in order to do it, but I figured it out. Facebook likes to hide those things, sheesh.

Afterwards I logged into Myspace and updated my status there, too. On Facebook I added my url to Myspace (because for whatever reason FB confuses me and I have a teen that rocks tech support regarding Myspace). I also like the fact that I can add stuff to Myspace and NOT have to invite friends in order to do so. I don’t think things work so well like that at Facebook. I mean if you see something I have and want it, you can get it yourself, right? Right.

Now I’m sitting here listening to Red Hot Chili Peppers and sipping my vanilla coffee. (Remember the Vanilla Refined Sugar that Honey’s sister gave us? OMG it’s sooo good!!)

I haven’t read any articles yet, but I am on my way through my Daily Reads (top right column) because I know that Venomous Kate has updated and that others may have as well. By the time I get through everything I will have to go get the Little Lady at school (early Wednesday).

Two more days before I go back to the eye doctor to have her check my hard lenses out. Let me tell you, I am loving them. I should have switched years ago (apologies for NOT listening to my sister on that count…) but hey, I’m known to be stubborn - it’s a family trait.

Off to read! Later.

Where I've been this morning other than email, that is:

Spinning black holes are ultimate cosmic batteries - Hmm... if only we could harness such energy.

Dakota Fanning on "New Moon" - Never read the books, but with the description of the character she may be cast for I think she'd be perfect! And I may have to watch this one if she does get cast because she'd be my type of vampire.

Heath Ledger wins SAG Award - Sweet.

GM Ohio, Michigan Shift Cuts to Eliminate 2,000 Jobs - Saw this coming.

President Obama Begins Week Focused on Economy - I don't write, comment or mention politics here, I simply read the article.

Girls Basketball Coach Fired After 100-0 Win - I think this guy will get a job REAL quick.

'Villages' Retirement Home is Widower's Sex Paradise - This is news why?

Evidence Suggests US Airways Jet Hit Object That Damaged Engine - Glad everyone safely survived this crash and don't they use hawkers (or is it called 'hawking'?) anymore for removing birds from the airport runways? Or perhaps this was simply bad timing on the flocks part.

Google's Rumored GDrive May 'Kill' the PC - The title of this article freaked me out a bit. I recommended using web-based email for an office I previously worked for because our servers were always crashing and we were always losing info, but it was a bad idea because it wouldn't have our domain name associated with the email address!

Fake Teen Cop Fools Police, Patrols Chicago for 5 Hours - Erhm?

California's "train wreck" a golden opportunity? - Every state has problems with the current economy.

Wouldn't let her sleep, suspect told deputies, so she shot him - Um, ok.  If someone was bothering me and wouldn't let me sleep I'd call the cops and make them leave.  There's no real detail to this story.  Was the boyfriend outside blowing his car horn? Banging on the door?  Yakking away in the bedroom about his day?  Either way, the only time it is ok to shoot someone is if it's to save a life.

Ok, time for me to start cleaning. I'll be back later.

About Disillusioned

Disillusioned is a personal view of the world around me. A lot of information will be about books I read, or shows/movies I watch but sometimes there will be something that simply has to be pointed out and shredded. With Joy.

About Chelle

Yeah, that's me! I am 25 34, I live in Northeast Ohio; I have one beautiful teenage daughter and one newly lovable cat. I enjoy reading, television, anime and annoying my daughter. I'm also trying to learn Japanese because I want to visit Japan someday. Yes, I'm over 30 and I like anime, do you have an issue with that?

If you really wish to know even more about how fantastic I truly am, here you go: About Me

About This Layout

This layout features a blending of Zen and Disillusioned. Everything is calm, tranquil, at peace. Yet, some days I feel very disillusioned about the reality around me because it doesn't contain these things, nor do I. There is so much chaos, so much anger and hate going around this world. It affects each and every one of us, like the movement of butterfly wings can cause tsunamis. The image used remains with the copyright of the owner. The font used is called Dali.
